    Every pupil has two things at all times: a pathway and a traffic light. They answer two different questions.

    1. Your pathway — what am I working on?

    Beginner

    Car control, basic junctions and observations. Manoeuvres with instructor help — your instructor is still stepping in.

    Intermediate

    Roundabouts, complex junctions, independent driving and hazard planning. Fewer prompts.

    Test Ready

    Mock tests, test routes, weak-area work and decisions under pressure.
